DO I NEED IT?

For many of us, the thought of being without our car brings about a good deal of stress. So, we can understand how, as a tradie, you depend on your work vehicles not only to get to the job but often to get the job done. Think about how difficult maintaining your business would be if your vehicle is out of commission. Keeping your employees, your goods, and yourself moving is a primary concern of nearly all tradies. Fortunately, the majority of tradespeople know just how vital a motor vehicle insurance policy is and they need no convincing about insuring the vehicles that keep them on the road.

    THE PROPER COVERAGE

A genuine concern of some tradies is not if they have an insurance policy in place for the vehicles they use for work, but instead, if they have the correct insurance and enough insurance. We are available to make sure that your motor vehicle insurance policy will cover the repair or replacement of a business vehicle. Additionally, we can confirm that your plan is specifically intended for a car or truck used for business purposes. There are a surprising number of people who do not know that if they are using a personal vehicle to conduct business, it must have an insurance policy written for a business vehicle. The exception to this is if you are using the car to get to work but nothing else business related. Having a personal car insurance policy does not guarantee payment if you are using a personal vehicle for work or work-related errands.

Depending on what type of vehicle you are driving in conjunction with your business, you will need either a policy designed for an auto or a truck. An auto policy will suffice for the use of a car, van, or small truck. If you use a cement mixer, tow truck, tractor, and trailer, or construction vehicles, you will need a rider to convert the policy to commercial truck insurance policy.

When it comes to making sure your work vehicles are adequately insured, our goal is to keep you on the road. We can review your existing motor vehicle insurance, and we will compare policies to be sure you have a great rate. Regardless of whether you need insurance on a single vehicle or an entire fleet, we will make sure you have the coverage you need.
